Bluegrass on the air from Killybegs TONIGHT and every Sunday and Monday night

Local community radio can be a powerful tool for making bluegrass heard, so thanks to Seán Ó Beirne in Co. Donegal for this news:

South West Donegal Community Radio is at last back online and can be accessed from anywhere via TuneIn or via our website. We are broadcasting from our new studio in Killybegs; I will be presenting a two-hour mix of bluegrass and country music on Sunday nights from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. Pat McGill [organiser of the annual Ardara Bluegrass Festival] will present his Bluegrass Show on Monday night from 7.00 to 10.00 p.m.

SWDCR is a local community radio station, run entirely by volunteers to help give a voice to all sections of the community, and offering a wide range of programming - music, news, events, documentaries, and interviews - where local people can hear local news, stories, and information. SWDCR began online broadcasting yesterday (Sat. 19 Nov.) at 10.00 a.m., and will present a full lineup of shows every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from now on, with more shows and days added as things progress.
